Muziklaban a rock band competition

The country’s longest-running amateur rock band competition, Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban, has always attracted a steady stream of rock aficionados with its Woodstock-like atmosphere and with its seemingly never-ending lineup of artists to bust one’s eardrums. Every year, Pinoy rock legends gather together to rock and usher in the newest and most promising generation of Pinoy rock artists.

Now, on its 13th year, Red Horse Beer promises to once again bring on the firepower with its celebrity endorsers, featuring a legendary line-up matching the epic competition. Returning for this mega rockfest is Slapshock, Kjwan, Greyhoundz and Wilabaliw.

A new personality, who is sure to bring both his love of music and his renowned status to the cult event, is the world’s number one pound-for-pound boxer, Manny Pacquiao. Pacquiao is the newest Red Horse Beer endorser.

Also, the presence of Pinoy rock music icon Pepe Smith at the event, will surely electrify the crowd. All of these Pinoy rock legends will join forces with musicians, rock aficionados, and hardcore OPM fans from all over the country, to catapult the finalists of this year’s Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban to instant Pinoy rock fame.

As expected, this year’s competition promises to be a rippin’ success, with more amateur local rock bands signing up to join the search that’s hailed as one of the strongest supporters of Pinoy rock music.

Red Horse Beer Pambansang Muziklaban has been giving local rock bands the venue to showcase their talents, win great prizes, while providing them the support they need to build a career in the local rock music scene. The ultimate rock band competition is now open for entries to amateur rock bands with members aged 18 to 34 years old.

The grand champion will snag an album launch sponsorship worth P300,000, an endorsement contract worth P200,000, and a cash prize of P500,000.

A special prize of P50,000 also goes to the best Red Horse Beer jingle composition.
